The S. Walt Lewis memorial section of the Atomic City Archives
is set up with the following goals:
- to preserve the memory of Walt Lewis through the legacy of
photographs he left and
- to encourage greater access to the historical record created
by these photographs and other materials.
In order to accomplish these goals we hope to do some of the following:
|
- Organize the thousands of images in the archive
- Digitize and preserve as many images as possible
- Work with Washington State University to place historically
relevant images in their archive
- Seek further identification of photos historical content
- Make images available at low or no cost for academic research
- Make images available commercially in order to fund the project
- Single image sales, framed or unframed for display
- Rates for publication
- Seek donations of money or equipment to advance the archive.
