I recently found a web site that had Paulina over time. I had always thought she was really an exhibitionist and was performing with nothing but a towel draped around her neck for a top. Then I see these new images and she has this micro-bikini top on underneath the towel or what ever she was wearing. All I could think of was "More modest than I thought".
I just received what people refer to as "La Chica Dorada" or the "the gold girl", which was her first album. I now have all of them. She really doesn´t sound that good on this album.
I have been listening to Paulina Rubio for some time now. I looked at when I created her directory in my server's collection of mp3's. They were dated 4 November 2001, which is about 20 months ago, but I know I have been listening much longer than that. I think I first started listening to her on Univision's "Exitos de Onda Max" and that show has been off of the air for at least a year. I would guess that I purchased Paulina and Planeta Paulina around the summer of 2000. She doesn't have a very strong voice but that does not keep you from enjoying listening to her sing. I was reading some comments on Amazon.com's section on Paulina and someone couldn't understand her English at times. I didn't have that problem. The album "Border Girl" has been playing at least %50 of the time in my car since it was released on 18 June 2002. I have since quit playing Border Girl. It is one of the 200 albums on my Creative Nomad Zen2 and is played occasionally.
