Newspapers of Interest

This is a simple page of links to newspapers that I use on occasions. It was begun because of Hurricane Stan and other natural disasters that occured in El Salvador and Guatemala in October 2005. I frequently visit La Prensa Gráfica in El Salvador. It has a volcano cam. It was, of course, not pointed at Santa Ana (Ilamatepec) when it erupted. I have local friends from El Salvador that do not have Internet access and it is a way of passing on news from home. I recently went thru the trouble to get a USA passport. This is to make it easier to enter Mexico and visit Oaxaca. Some people I know are supposed to be in Santa Ana de Valle in junio o julio de 2005. I think it would be very interesting to spend a month in Mexico taking an immersion class in Spanish and then visit the people I know.

I am also personally interested in Oaxaca, Michoacán, Colima, and the Yucatán area in general. This web page is more of a memory device to prevent me from wasting time the next time I want to read about something. Most of them are in Spanish and do not have an English version. They may not be in sorted order. It is always easy to add at the end with Adobe's GoLive and takes more work to sort. Many of the links were obtained from the Australian web page called 1000´s of newspapers online.
