The 4th Annual BIG SKY BLUES FESTIVAL will take place August 3th and 4th in Noxon, MT.  Unlimited camping and RV spots at the festival site on the beautiful Clark Fork River nestled in the mountains of Western Montana. 9 Great Award Winning Bands all weekend long plus the now famous"Big Sky, Big Jam" to close out the festival on Sunday evening. Arrive on Friday August 2nd and stay through Monday, August 5th.

Montana's Vista power company owns several acres here and they were kind enough to allow this festival to return to their property, which is also a public park and recreation area the rest of the year. When we first crossed the bridge over the Clark Fork River into Noxon, there was a very special feeling that this could be one of those really BIG annual events, once the word got out about how beautiful this place really is. There appears to be unlimited room for camping and RV's. Promoters Lorne Riddell and Randy Oxford with "Buzz Productions" and "Oxford Entertainment" were thrilled with the increased attendance for their 3nd annual event and expect even larger this year.

The weather is always perfect for swimming, dogs playing, babies "cooing" and all is right with the world! The quality of the stage, lighting and the sound are top notch and the food sold at the camp site is delicious.

Lorne Riddell, who besides being one of the promoters, also owns The Naughty Pine Saloon just 15 minutes east of Noxon, in Trout Creek. Lorne has live music  with  RJ Knapp and Honey Robin Friday night, Aug. 2 at The Naughty Pine Saloon to play  pre-festival party. This year there will be a shuttle from the camping ground and motel to and from The Naughty Pine Saloon on Friday night. The band will set the "tone" then fans and bands will be ready for 2 more days of great music and sunshine under the BIG Montana sky.

Drive into Noxon, MT. and you will see the camping and festival site on the river as you are driving over the bridge into Noxon. Can't miss it.  This is a picture taken in the evening  by Randy Oxford on the bridge entering Noxon! For this fourth annual festival it will be "first come, first serve" for parking, etc.. There is more than enough room for all.
