Brian
Feist, born in Centralia,WA., beagan playing guitar at age
13. But his love for music starts in his earliest
childhood memories. "I learned to work my fathers stereo as soon
as I was old enough to climb a chair to reach the knobs." "I
would listen for hours through the headphones to my dad's album
collection, which consisted mostly of oldies, classic rock, and
symphonic music, and I always pictured myself on stage in the
band." A love for the blues reached him later in life
and has never let go. In keeping with the blues tradition, Brian
Feist is a concentrated and emotional young performer with a flair
for harmonic ingenuity and an uncanny sense of swing. Leaving
everything on the stage, Brian digs deep and strives hard to find
those "special moments" for his audience, which he always seems
able to do. He has performed with northwest greats such as
Alice Stewart, Mark Dufresne, and Bill Englehart. His own Band,
the Brian Feist Blues Band, was featured in the 2007 Mt. Baker
Blues Festival.
