Born in Spokane, WA in 1958 -- I remember the days going to my brother's band rehearsal watching and hoping to one day play an instrument. In my last year of high school I learned to play the bass. I started a band with other 'younsters' called WEJAM. I was influenced by Verdine White (EWF), Larry Graham (Graham Central Station) and Louis Johnson (Bro Johnson).

As I got better with practice, I got to meet and take advice from Lee Ritnour, Joe Sample, Jim Cliff and Richard Marks, who was my brother's bass player. One thing they taught me was to attack with energy. It was all about having fun. I've been in a few top 40 cover bands, Orpheus, Mr. Clean, Skiner, Scenario, and Groove City. Now being with Randy, I get to really play from the heart and learn more about music and it's universal language. I am a very blessed person to be able to do the thing I love to do and be acknowledged as a good bass player. I get to be creative and disciplined at the same time.
