Ricky
is from Little Rock, Arkansas where he began playing drums and
singing Gospel at the age of 5. His Father was into Country Music,
his Mother was into Gospel music and his brothers and sisters
brought the Rhythm and Blues influence to Ricky at a very young
age. This all makes for a very diverse and knowledgeable Drummer
and singer.
Ricky has toured with the popular NW band Jonah's Whale in the late 70's and 80's. Ricky was also with the Jazz Group "Coda" and the Charles Certain Jazz Experience and the Korla Wygal Band in the 90's.
Ricky has been one of the most sought after studio musicians and band drummers in the NW for many years. Ricky is looking forward to a unique and great experience with The Randy Oxford Band. He brings diversity and style on the drums as well as a great voice.
