It's an honor to be nominated in the same category as Raven Humphries and Scotty Harris. Two great horn players.

There are so many fantastic Blues horn players around the NW these days. Too many to list right here and now.

I am honored to be recognized along side some of these great horn blowers. We supply the hot air in the blues community so that no one else has to.

As a Trombone player working 4 to 5 nights a week, it has been fun dispelling all of those Trombone jokes that were once told around these parts.

I'd like to share this award with all of the hot air Blues horn blowers who are willing to go out there night after night amongst all of the Blues Guitar players and Blues Harmonica players in the NW Blues scene and be heard.
