The Mid Columbia Soarers and Basin Sod Present:

The 2007 Eltopia Hand Launch Challenge

June 30th and July 1st

Basin Sod Farm  Eltopia, WA

The Eltopia challenge is a two day hand launch glider contest. Awards will be given for 1st through 6th place. We will be using NWSS rules with the tasks announced at the pilots meeting. Wing span is limited to 1.5 meters. This event will be AMA sanctioned and AMA membership is required.

The sod farm is a great place to fly, but there is no food service available. Be sure to bring a lunch and plenty of water. We will have a half hour break for lunch.

Please keep your speed down on the gravel roads and don’t drive on the sod.  Fully self contained campers can stay at the flying field.
