Have been divorced for 29 year. Retired from 28 years of teaching highschool history in June of 2003. Substitute teach some and am now hanging out at Blues and Jazz Clubs at night and creating websites, posters and ads for musicians and night clubs. To see one of my favorite musicians go to http://randyoxford.com. Last year I traveled to Ethiopia, Hawaii, and Tahiti -- usually do not go that many places. It was an oddity. I do like traveling to all types of destinations.
My oldest son, Theo, an engineer, has just moved to Oxnard, CA with is wife and daughter who has just completed her first year at ASU. He has another daughter back in PA who has a 14 month old daughter, making me a great grandmother!!
My youngest son is married with two sons and teaches and does research at ASU. He and his family are going to Vietnam in Sept. where he has a year sabbatical, think he is doing research on the river there, etc. Would be fun to visit them there.
Lucky for me my, daughter who has two daughters (both 9 years old), both adopted, teaches school in the Kent school district and lives near me. One daughter she adopted from China when 9 months old and the other daughter was adopted from Ethiopia just one year ago. My daughter, her daughter who was adopted from China and myself traveled there last year to get the Ethiopian daughter. She didn't know one word of English! Now she rattles on non stop.
