What's Up:
MY FAMILY: My first wife (Donna) of 28 years passed away of Breast cancer in August of 1992. I remarried an angel (Nancy) in 1996. Nancy adopted and helped me raise our children: Danielle who is now 21 years old and attending San Francisco State University and our 20 year old son, Darren who recently signed up for classes at Saddleback Community College. Both work part-time in the food industry.

INTERESTS/HOBBIES: Attending "Smooth Jazz" concerts, traveling, gardening, walking, sailing, 3 mini Doxies and wood sculpturing.

MY LIFE NOW: We just returned from a wonderful three week tour of France which has been one of my wife Nancy's dreams since early childhood. I am working on my 18th year with Southern California Edison and plan on retiring in two more years. We recently downsized to a smaller home in Carlsbad after the last child's graduation and selling our homes in Capistrano Beach/San Clemente where we had both lived for the past 28 years. I obtained my MBA in the summer of 2000 and am a member of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society. I am now spending most of my free time whenever not attending smooth jazz concerts or traveling, re-landscaping our yard, ripping out Malaluca, other junk bushes and trees. I have recently replaced some of the above with avocado, plumeria and sago.

LOOKING AHEAD: I would very much like to retire, buy a small winter home in Mexico and a small cabin somewhere in the Pacific Northwest. It is important that both of these homes be close to large bodies of water, as we have both spent a large part of our lives near water. I am, however, considering couple of possible business ventures and/or working part-time after retirement from Edison. We are also considering the option of maintaining a small home somewhere in southwest and purchasing a motor home rather than the small places in Mexico and Pacific Northwest. All depends on our health and wealth! Certainly hope and pray that both hold out!
