The name of Dr. Badois cropped up quite often in my Internet research into NA. Several of his
patients are frequent contributors to one or more of the Dupuytren's contracture web forums.
I was most impressed by the information on the web site maintained by Dave McIntosh.
It includes pictures and video of Dave's hands. Dave said "I contacted Dr. Badois October 14/01 by email
sending along pictures of my hands. He contacted me on October 16th
telling me that I required at least 2 sessions to treat both hands and suggested appointments in February 2002.
My cost for each of two sessions was 180 Euro cash. Payable at his office after each session.
Dr. Badois speaks very good english, much better then he gives himself credit for.
I felt completely at ease under his care. In fact, we joked through most of the sessions."
Since I do not speek French, Dave's description made me comfortable about contacting Dr. Badois.
Therefore, when my brother-in-law had invited us to attend his 70th birthday party in Paris in June 2005, I started communicating with Dr. Badois so I could combine medical tourism with the birthday celibration. He answered my eMails promptly. Initially I asked for a consultation because I was not sure my DC had progressed far enough to warrrent the NA procedure. I sent him images of my hands and a list of dates when I would be in Paris. He replied that my left hand should have the treatment and set up an appointment for Friday, May 27 at 2:30 in the afternoon. He also indicated that the cost would be 200 Euro cash.
