Curiouser and Curiouser :p My server rules prohibit the transfer of .zip files, so was forced to rename caster.zip and melee.zip to caster.abc and melee.abc respectively. They are .zip files however, just will have to specify Winzip as the application to use to open them. My sincere apologies for the extra hoop to jump through.
To use these files, create a folder in your $/everquest/uifiles directory with a name that means something to you, such as caster or melee or Zingbat or whatever... extract the files downloaded into that folder.
Launch EQ, and when character is logged in, type /loadskin caster or melee or Zingbat or whatever you chose to name the folder you created in the $/everquest/uifiles directory. Should you decide you hate the changes, typing /loadskin Default will restore the plain vanilla versions.
Viewport... Viewport command sets the position and size of the viewing area of your screen and is dependant on screen resolution and things that are unique to each user. The settings I use (because I detest having my viewing area coverred up by windows) on my 1024x768 resolution monitor are as follows: /viewport 122 190 780 578. What this does is set the upper left hand corner of my viewing area 122 pixels from the left, 190 pixels from the top and makes the viewing area 780 pixels wide and 578 pixels deep. Should you prefer your chat boxes on the bottom, try : /viewport 122 0 780 578. To restore full screen viewing area, should you decide that viewport is not for you, type: /viewport reset or /viewport 0 0 1024 768 (for a 1024 x 768 screen resolution).
