13. Elizabeth H.3 Whitaker (Isaac2, William1) was born in Orange, North Carolina May 1, 1830. Elizabeth died August 19, 1910 in Falls City, Richardson, Nebraska, at 80 years of age. Her body was interred August 1910 in Falls City, Richardson, Nebraska.

She married Jesse Crook in Gainesville, Tennessee, February 28, 1846. Jesse was born in White, Tennessee September 12, 1826. Jesse was the son of John Crook Jr. and Mary Lee. Jesse died December 24, 1908 in Falls City, Richardson, Nebraska, at 82 years of age. His body was interred December 26, 1908 in Falls City, Richardson, Nebraska. 1854 - One of the first settlers in Richardson County, Neb. settled in Archer then moved to Falls City. 1855 - First white man to grow corn in Richardson County, Neb. 1856 - Helped survey the town of Archer. 1858 abt - Worked as a Mail Carrier (Pony Express rider). 1857-1868 - Built first hotel in Falls City - City Hotel. 1868 - Sold hotel.

At 16 years of age Elizabeth became the mother of John A. Crook in White, Tennessee, January 11, 1847. At 18 years of age Elizabeth became the mother of Sarah E. Crook in White, Tennessee, March 2, 1849. At 21 years of age Elizabeth became the mother of William Hampton Crook in White, Tennessee, May 9, 1851.

At 48 years of age William became the father of Elizabeth Jane (Eliza) Crook in Falls City, Richardson, Nebraska, July 24, 1899. 1887 - Director of Richardson County Bank for 35 years. 1888 - 1890 - Richardson County Board of Supervisors. Mail-Carrier (pony express rider) from Falls City to Arago and St Stephens. First son died in infancy.

15. John Hickman3 Whitaker (Isaac2, William1) was born in Cookeville, Putnam, Tennessee February 15, 1838. John died December 15, 1888 in Falls City, Richardson, Nebraska, at 50 years of age. His body was interred December 17, 1888 in Falls City, Richardson, Nebraska.

He married Amanda Welch.
