E. Ivar Husa

I worked on a variety of metals, including carbon and stainless steels, aluminum, magnesium, cast iron, and 'pot metal' (a cast zinc alloy).

This shop experience gave me the confidence to learn many new shop processes in the future (a Battelle), and the courage to build my own airplane. I continue to keep my shop skills active through work in my home shop (metal and wood working).
